100 Talents

The University will expand the number of endowed faculty chairs to attract, retain, and recognize excellence in research, scholarship, policy, practice, and artistic creation. These positions will include new and existing faculty and well as rotating appointments and visiting scholars who will attract excellent students, serve as mentors, set the stage for new partnerships, and increase our impact in the world.

Actions

  • Enhance the faculty community with 100 new endowed faculty chairs by 2025
  • Invest strategically in talent across the University’s areas of strength in all disciplines
  • Reinvigorate guidelines and procedures for attracting and creating endowed chairs
  • Create programs to attract distinguished visiting scholars and practitioners from a variety of fields and from communities across the globe.
